There are three images that can be uploaded for use within iClubMembers. Only club Administrators can upload new club banner images and report logos. Members, however, can upload their own photos. For best results, images should be created using the following criteria.
The Banner Image is displayed at the top of web pages. Its physical size is 500 x 50 pixels or about 7.0 x 0.7 inches. The banner can be any image format acceptable for use on web forms (e.g., jpg, bmp, or gif). For best results the banner should have a transparent background or have a color on the right side that blends with the Background Color Light style.
The Reports Logo is displayed on printed reports. It's printed physical size is 1.5 x 0.5 inches. The logo can be any standard image format, but the best quality is obtained using jpg or bmp format. In some cases, a logo in gif format does not display correctly on multiple page reports so this format is discouraged. If the Reports Logo is bigger than the printed physical size, it should still maintain an aspect ratio of 3 x 1. Large size logos will slow report printing.
The Member Photo's physical size is 120 x 140 pixels or about 1.7 x 1.9 inches. It can be any image format acceptable for use on web forms (e.g., jpg, bmp, or gif).
To improve performance, images should be as small as possible and still maintain image quality. A very good looking image can be created with an image size of less than 100 KB. The maximum, uploadable image size is 2 MB. Attempting to upload an image over 4 MB will generate a "Page not available" error.
To upload an image, click the Browse button and locate the image file on your hard drive. Now click the Upload button to complete the upload. A message will be displayed stating that the image was successfully uploaded or a description of the error if there were problems. After a successful upload, you may need to click your browser's Reload button to refresh the page and display the new image.
